Are you able to easily tell new boyfriends/lovers about your work? If yes, how do they react?
I don’t really date but i will have to think about how to breach this subject should it come up. I’ll let you know ;P

How has it changed you in terms of your attitudes to sex and in the bedroom when you are having sex?
It hasnt changed me, but i am a lot more cognizant of what i choose to reveal to people online vs. my partners

What are some of the craziest fantasies that guys come up with?
I think the craziest is when they just want to talk. i’m all for shooting the shit about steph curry and the warriors vs. jordan and the 96 bulls but to think they’re paying for that… baffles me.

What is your opinion on the male species after working in the industry?
Y’all suck. wish i could roll out of bed in the same clothes as yesterday and still look certifiably bangable. and how is it that y’all look sexier AFTER you work out? sweaty and out of breath and …..ugh i need to get laid.

The best thing about being a webcam girl

Show me your Tits BB

please show tits bb

Nothing is free on Webcam.

Now, I know what you’re thinking, and I’ve heard it a thousand times before. “The best things in life are free.” In real life? Maybe. (although I’m going to come in with a strong #debatable). In Cam life? NOTHING IS FREE.

Let’s just get all of the silly questions out of the way now, so we can delve into the truth of the subject.

“What about smiles?” … While it’s true that smiles may not be paid for with cash, tokens or gold (Although it might work if you DO charge for it) they are most certainly paid for with your soul that will inevitably be sucked out piece by excruciating piece from dealing with the gigantic F*$% Boys that you have to deal with on a daily basis. (“Ass BB.. Open tits BB.. Show me a preview and then Private BB)… but I digress.

“If I tease for free then maybe they will pay for it!” Nope. No. NOOOOO. Don’t fall into this trap, beauties. There is so much out there for you, and money is at the head of the pack. Would you ask a clothing store to give you a free shirt so you could test it out before you buy it? How about asking a restaurant if you could try a small version of their entrée dish for free? Pretty sure they would laugh in your face and walk away. At least, that’s what I would do.. In fact, it IS what I do anytime some entitled jerk comes into my cam room and tries to get the milk for free. Repeat after me, ladies and gents. “NO, the cow is NOT for sale and the milk is NEVER free.”

The fact of the matter is that you are providing a luxury service. The key word to remember there is LUXURY. If you are out of their price range than you are also out of their league. (Awe..can’t afford a show? Better start saving up to give yourself a nice big birthday gift!)

Here’s what you do. Sit down, write out a list of what you know you will get asked for and then price out what you’re comfortable charging for each individual thing. Don’t second guess yourself!! If you want to charge high, charge high! This ain’t Walmart, and you don’t need to roll back your prices. The way I see it, it’s better to start your prices higher and lower them if you need, rather than setting the bar low and having to explain to people why your prices are being raised.

Flash? $5

Spanks? $3/spank

Twerk? $15

Blocking them when they continue to try and get it for free? Priceless.

You get the idea. Don’t sell yourself short! If you have people trying to get things for free than you either convert them into a paying customer or you cut the gigantic, pathetic freeloading cord that is their life. (#ByeFelicia)

Have I drilled that into your head enough?

Good.

So here comes the other side of things. Some people that you’re going to encounter like to sip on that haterade that is their miserable existence and call it juice. These people will be climbin’ in your windows, snatchin’ that free pussy up, so ya’ll better hide your girls, hide your sin-caves and hide your emotions cause they monetarily rapin’ er’body up in here.

Common phrases include, but are not limited to:

“I’m just asking because OTHER models do it for this price.”

“If you showed more for free, then more people would tip in”

“But I’ve given you so much money already!”

“You’re expensive”

(Side note: If you didn’t read that in an obnoxiously whiny voice, take it back one time and try again)

If you haven’t already figured it out, these people are idiots. They aren’t worth your time, and more often than not they are either trying to get you to lose your cool, or they are honestly ignorant enough to believe that you would show them something for free… and for what? Because they think they deserve it? Girl, please. You control your room and if you give away the goose, you give away the gander. (The goose being YOU and the gander in this case being the control)

Let’s face it. This is a job that comes with the vulnerability of exposing parts of yourself that most people would never dream of exposing, let alone have the courage to show even their closest of friends. There is a risk involved, there is the knowledge that everything you do while the cam is turned on has the possibility of being posted on the internet ANYWHERE and being seen by literally ANYONE. (If you don’t think this is the case, you are severely naive, and I recommend you research some more about what career choice you’re making before deciding on anything.)

Taking all of these things into consideration, I think we can all agree that we have the right, NAY, the duty to charge for any and all of the services and products that we provide.

Including the pleasure of our sparkling personalities. 🙂

I’ll leave you with this. Ultimately, the decision whether to give away teases and freebies is up to you. It’s your world and we’re all just living in it. All I’m preaching here is that you should never let anyone devalue you as not only a product, but also as a model.

…and hey, I’m not saying to stand up and say to the world “I have the Pussy, so I make the rules. Pay to play or get the F*&$ out”

…but I’m also not NOT saying that.

Webcam Model Forum etiquette

webcam forum etiquette

Cam Model Forum Etiquette

There are tons of forums out there, maybe you have experience with most of them, but then again maybe you don’t. Hey, I’m not one to judge. At least until you start to wile out like you’re the mean girl in a 1980’s movie. (Trust me girl, that is never okay and people WILL be laughing at you if you’re actin’ a fool on forums for everyone to see.)

On a serious note, if you haven’t ever checked out forums, there are some that can be really helpful. Just a quick google search and you will be able to open up a world that you never knew existed. An entire community of other sex workers that support each other and become lifelong friends. There are forums out there that let you interact with your fans and create new fans with a really immersive community type feel, and industry forums where you can network with hundreds of industry moguls.

That being said, there are definitely things that you need to take into consideration when you’re deciding to sign up and become an active member.

Before starting a new thread to start a topic or ask a question, make sure that the answer isn’t already out there in another thread.

I have seen newbies on forums torn apart because they didn’t take the time to look around and read the previous threads, or do any research on their own. I hate to say it, but most of the time it’s a thread started about the simplest question, where the answer has been talked about a million times already.

Here’s the deal. All of us take the time to get on these forums and give advice, offer support, share our tricks and tips with people (newbies to the cam game included) so it’s almost like a slap in the face when someone comes on the forum that no one has ever heard of and doesn’t take the time to put a little work into figuring out some things about breaking into the cam industry on their own.

Don’t take it personal. You need to understand that it seems as though every other week there is a wave of new cam girls that come barreling in thinking that it’s all rainbows, sunshine and butterflies shooting out of our asses, over here. They think they’re going to make $3000 their first week out, and all it takes is an ass smack or a titty shake.

Pro Tip: Just because you’re pretty and cute and all the boys in your high school wanted to bang you, doesn’t mean that you’re going to succeed as a cam model. So for someone to walk in and expect us to give them the secrets to success like it’s a spirit stick from Bring It On (the original, obviously) is insulting. If we all did it the hard way, so can you. Especially since you might not last more than 2 months once you realize it really isn’t all that easy. At the end of the day, every model is our competition and the fact that we all decide to get on and share trade secrets should be respected, not taken for granted.

Use your time wisely, read the forum and comment in other threads for a few months before starting your own. Become a part of the community and you’re going to have a much better result.

Always make sure to read the TOS for the forum.

This sounds like an easy one to remember, and maybe it is and people just decide to break the rules, but either way please do yourself a favor and make sure that you know what is and isn’t allowed to be talked about before you start rambling off at the fingertips.

Understand what type of forum you are on

If you’re on a forum where there’s a group of sex workers that all talk and support each other, make sure you aren’t posting threads and trying to spam for promotion or with referral links to your affiliate sites/items. That’s rude, and disrespects the safe space that they have created and culminated for so long.

If you’re on a forum where the key point is to interact with fans, then make sure that you are actually taking the time to talk one on one with them (Great example: FreeOnes) and utilizing the platform to recruit new fans and build some solid relationships. That’s why the guys are on there, to be able to talk to their favorite porn stars/adult models, not to just read post after post about what’s new on your website that they should join.

If you’re on an Industry forum make sure that you are keeping it professional. Everyone enjoys a good laugh, but if you start spouting off without regret, you will create a bad name for yourself very quickly, word will spread and people will not want to work with you. You never know when you’re going to need connections so networking is a really important piece to building any career. Don’t burn bridges unnecessarily.

Treat everyone with R-E-S-P-E-C-T

I feel like this one should definitely go without saying, but *sigh* some people these days just don’t know how to do this. I’ve said this before and gotten the “Well, you have to give respect to get it” line. Everybody deserves respect to start with, until they give you a reason to take it away. So when someone is genuinely trying to help you, or pointing something out about a rule on the forum, don’t respond with a snarky comeback.

Take all advice (yes even constructive criticism) and use it to improve. Whether it’s by NOT using the advice given or by actually using it. It still will teach you what/what not to do… and we can always be improving our craft.

So go out there and start to network and become part of the forum world communities. If you need a list of the top webcam forums for webcam models, you can click here. There is a lot of fun that you can have and a lot that you can learn. Just don’t be a giant twat waffle about it.

Converting Webcam freeloaders into Customers

webcam freeloader

Converting Guys into Customers on Webcam

Convert: Cause to change in form, character or function.

Converting customers is the most important part of your job as a cam model. Without conversions you wouldn’t have anyone. Just think.. Every paying client you have ever had is a conversion. Maybe not from you, but someone else was able to convince them to start spending money. If you don’t make converting customers one of your strongest skill sets than you are absolutely not fulfilling your full potential of a sales goddess.

When you strip away all the lace, frill and dildos, that’s what your job really is. A sales job. In fact, it’s one of the most challenging sales jobs that you could have. A car salesman sells a car because people have to pay to have one. People don’t have to pay for sex. They can get it for free all over the internet and in real life, so it’s up to you to convince them to not only pay for their fap material, but to make you BE that fap material.

My number one recommendation is to always be reading. Research and read books on sales techniques, how to win arguments, psychology on how the brain works, anything that you can think of that will help mold your sales craft into a force to be reckoned with.

Here are a few pro tips to get you started:

1) The Art of Subtle Selling

It doesn’t matter how many followers you have on Twitter, if all you do is post links to your content or your cam site and expect people to just click on the link and buy it every time, you are out of your mind. People don’t want to feel like they are being told to do something. In order to get people to want to purchase your product, they have to first believe in the product. Especially when you are selling yourself, you will get a much higher conversion rate if you spend some time letting them feel like they are getting to know you. Talk with them, have inside jokes, let them into a little bit of your life so they feel like they have a connection beyond the links that you tell them to click.

From there it’s always easier to make a sale. By building connections, you are building brand loyalty, which will make you more popular in the long run. The more popular you are, the easier high volume conversions become. People want what everyone wants, and to make anyone want you, you have to be real to them.

Once you start showing your personality by talking with them, letting them see some of your day on snapchat, hanging out in your cam room, then you’ll be able to start soft selling everything without making them feel like you are pushing for a sale.

“Man, I don’t know why no one in here has gotten my tits out. Whats up with that? I know you want to see them, they’re F**cking phenomenal”

This will create the feeling of them having the idea to tip you for a flash. The key word is their. Was it really their idea? Of course not. You just created the illusion of them coming up with the thought of “Hey, why hasn’t anyone tipped her to flash us? I would definitely want to see her gorgeous, amazing, succulent breasts.” Okay, maybe they wouldn’t think it in those exact words, but you get my point.

Alright, that was a really obvious example but you get what I’m trying to say, don’t you? You don’t always have to say “Let’s go exclusive” You can be creative with it and make them think that it’s their idea. You’ll end up converting people who never would have dreamed of spending their money.

2) You Giveth and You Taketh Away

This is one of my personal favorite tricks. Back when I was a bartender I used this all the time on my bar guests and it worked flawlessly. In a cam room, it works even better.

I’m going to use snapchat as an example, but this will work in any aspect. I keep my snapchat public except for when I switch it to private settings for my premium members. I only allow my premium members to send me messages, but every once in awhile I will announce that I’m going to open up my snaps to chat.

I always get bombarded with messages, and I really just hang out with them and chat back and forth. I don’t mention anything about them buying premium, or purchasing any of my content. After we’ve gotten into the really great parts of the conversation, I close my snaps. Right before I close them I let them know that talking to them was fun and if they were a premium member they would be able to chat with me anytime they wanted, and then I let them know where they can go to buy it.

I do the same thing with Gold Shows on Streamate. I will start a countdown, but if it doesn’t hit my goal then I don’t do gold shows for the rest of the week. This way it lets the guys know that I don’t have to offer them a discounted show, and that I’ll only continue if they make sure to make it worth my while.

This method has always resulted in sales for me. You giveth and then you taketh away. They will want that sunshine to warm them up again, so they’ll pay for it now that they know what it feels like.

3) Hard Sell/Soft Sell

I like to alternate my sales techniques. I’ve messed around with a million different ways to convert new people and the one that works best for me is an on week and an off week of alternating between hard selling and soft selling. The first week I will be constantly pushing my links in their faces, reminding them about where to go and what to buy. Basically, I’m making it impossible for them to forget, opening up my snaps and chatting, running specials and deals. Then the next week I back off, and rarely mention it. Instead of telling them how to buy premium snapchat, I simply let them know that I’m switching over to premium. I’ll make comments about a new video that I’m making, or how much I love getting to read the

custom scripts I get. I’ll open up my snaps and tell people to message me if they have questions about anything, but I don’t elaborate.

By teasing with what they could have but keeping the access to it just out of their reach, almost like they have to work for it, can make them want to have it that much more. Then, when you do give out the information, people will dive for it like it’s the last drop of water in the Sahara, simply because they don’t know when they are going to get it again.

Wax on, wax off young grasshopper.

Camster Review

camster review

Camster Review

There are abundant amount of cam sites on the web & like many models, you’ll think of signing up to many of them & either using them once or using each one frequently. As a professional cam model for a few years now, I honestly recommend Camster.

The site pays 50/50 on net revenue & with a weekly payout, unlike many other sites, gives you a generous constant income. I was pleasantly surprised when I came across Camster, with the simple & understandable sign up process, within 24hrs, I was verified, signed into the main console & ready to perform on cam. The main console is easy on the eye & also very simple to understand, with a white background & the main pull out menu to the left in a deep navy blue it’s not over complicated nor is it hard to understand. All of the features & functions can be located here on a standard “top to bottom” style layout menu, making it easy for you, running your business as a camgirl, instead of wondering where to find things & work the site.

On the right of the on screen console’s the inbox, with a clearly visable red counter, so you can find messages & email from your online friends & customers. Underneath is a sharing link, easy to locate & use, with a “click to copy” button for promoting yourself online to your social media pages & in your signature in forums, this is always a plus, bringing higher earnings from your fans. Directly central in the main console, the “go online” “large green” button & above, the rates charged for private & spy shows, here you can edit to the fee you wish to charge. Camster’s the easiest to use console, and like I said, cannot stress enough how it’s so easy on the eye.

The side menu includes “Broadcast”, in both standard or HD, a “bulletin” button, locating your online messages. A “stats & earnings” page, although your latest earnings are also clearly displayed on the main dashboard, seen under the inbox on the right. There’s a photos & video section within your profile where you can profit from clips & pics, with a small charge for each. The video is not downloadable, but viewed in the user console. The upload pages to both photos & video’s underneath the “stats & earnings” button on the menu before the “blocked Regions” button. Here you can type regions you wish to block, it’s as simple as this.

Under these, the payment settings, tax & another rates button, to clearing bring up your rates you charge for private, group & spy. There’s a wish list page & you can link to your twitter social media page. Changing your model categories is located under these, and gives a choice, not too many, enough to give users the choice to find you without making it complicated. Hair color, body shape & size, likes, dislikes. A contact button for your own information is below & at the bottom of the menu list, a support button. This includes phone numbers for camster, email support & a wiki page with various “questions & answers”. Camster has a very handy “chat” button to the right of the console, making your business effortless with enquires or problems that are dealt with sufficiently & in speedy reply from a knowledgeable team. The customer service & model support from Camster’s both profession & of high standard. The team likes to help both you the model & the users, so both business & enjoyment can is accomplished in the online entertainment.

After looking through the cam console & setting everything up, you’re ready for broadcasting, this is as simple as joining. With your cam plugged in (I recommend a high quality camera, around $80 giving high quality picture & sound, remember, this is your business.) Clicking the “big green” button or the “broadcast” button on the side menu, both access a pop up page, your SD cam feed console’s now open. This console’s again both easy on the eye & simple to understand. Your cam feed display’s on the right, the users in your chatroom are underneath & the text area to the left.My only negative comment is within this area, I still cannot located the “text size or style” button & have still not changed the size of the text making it slightly difficult to read some of the users text when using a separate larger screen, other than this, going online is simple.

Once online, you’ll begin performing to users from this platform or the choice of a HD platform from a downloadable console logging into this flash installation from your pc. If you’re using a HD camera, higher than 2mb upload broadband, using the HD broadcast is recommended, giving users a higher quality image. This is using the second “broadcast HD” button on the side bar in the main console. Choosing this option, a page in the main console gives you the choice of download, a flash install into your pc, laptop or mac, this is called “Imodel”.

Once downloaded, you can login to Camster network using this program on your computer. There are no bugs & the system is very stable, as is the whole of the network & the online console.

You’ll need to login here with your username & password & once this program is opened, it uses an “adobe” flash program to transfer the higher bit rate faster & in smaller packets, with this, you need to start the cam from the new application, it’s all reasonably understandable once logged in. When online, with the huge 5 million friendly members, you’ll have no problem with traffic & a constant stream of users into your chat room. Camster’s part of a large network of cam sites since 1997, giving you more traffic & a higher profitability giving you a higher income.

Nearly all of the users are friendly as most of the direct traffic through Camster is genuine & are not just looking for a free flash. Sadly, like with all sites, you’ll always come across maybe one disrespectful user, a chancer, like I have, texting fake tips. This user was banned shortly after I notified the admin help, using the chat button on the main console. The admin support team came into my room directly & giving a tip, showing the whole room the fake tip user was not accepted, while banning the user. There’s a “ban” button in the models cam interface, allowing you to remove anyone you wish to remove from your room. With of the high traffic available from Camster, offering photo & video on your profile can be a very profitable, this is simple to do, uploading either images or video from your main console. Video can be no larger than 500mb & the images can be both amateur or professional. A choice is always good for your users to appreciate.

Camster offers both weekly & daily webcam payments options to US models through check, direct bank deposit, bank wire, Paypal, Dwolla, Payoneer & CMB paycard as payment options, again for US models which is applaudable with payment types, However for International models, Camster does lack payment options with Dwolla, Payoneer & the CMB payment card as the only options, this I find a big negative.

Pleased to say, Payonneer is simple to set up if you do not have this already & is a easy way to accept payment, with a small $3 fee, you can receive your payment into the bank within 1 to 3 business days. There’s no holdbacks for models to worry about & chargebacks are covered by Camster & there’s $1000’s daily prize money given out, available to win, making it worthwhile to go online for long length shifts, in a weekly routine.

You can create tip shows, $30 to $40 is a good set out price. Models must stick to the times & offer a good show to reap the rewards. Any shows ending early are penalized.

I honestly recommend Camster for both user & models, I score the site 9/10. The only negative points are those I mentioned, the payment types for international models, the text size in the model chat room & the one member who came in & tried to con me with the fake tip. However, the service provided from the support team of Camster was remarkable & made up for the user.

The features & functions are all fantastic, easy to use, with the simplest of usability. Camster does lack marketing tools, apart from the model referral link code. From a models perspective, the traffic size & quality of users are both good, the console’s easy to use & doesn’t slow down or hinder your computer with technical gadgets & the model resources are easy to locate with the available chat always accessible for online help & support.

Getting to know Abella Anderson

What do you normally do when you are on web cam? How do you feel when you are working?

I love my fans. Naked.com is a way for me to get one on one time with them and I am willing to do just about anything. When I am done it gives me a great sense of accomplishment and it is a great confidence booster because my viewers fill me with praise!

Are you able to easily tell new boyfriends/lovers about your work? If yes, how do they react?

They have to accept me for who I am and my job is apart of me. If they don’t like what I do, then it’s their loss but they are usually very open to it and find it very sexy.

How has it changed you in terms of your attitudes to sex and in the bedroom when you are having sex?

I am a much more open person now. I understand that each person has different fantasies and likings and I no longer get surprised by what some people may find “strange”.

What are some of the craziest fantasies that guys come up with?

Some guys like to have sex while getting dirty, like in a mud pond. It’s a stimulating experience, to get so wild.

What is your opinion on the male species after working in the industry?

Each man is different. They all have different tastes and different fantasies.

The best thing about being a webcam girl

The best thing about Webcamming is that it’s very safe. You don’t have to do anything you don’t want and on naked you can even block countries/regions where you don’t want to appear. Besides all this, there is the obvious, which is the elimination of getting any STDS.

Words of wisdom for cam models?

If you tell your fans you’re going to do something, do it. Viewers will always come back if you are constantly giving them what they want.

What is your favorite food?

My guilty pleasure is pizza. Definitely pizza.

What is something that rocks your world?

My fans. I mean, lovies. Because I love those who support me.

First thing I do when I wake up in the morning:

I check my phone! I think that’s the first thing most people do.

The last thing I do before falling asleep:
Check my phone. I know. I’m obsessed.

The Webcam stage five clinger

The Stage 5 Clinger

We’ve all heard of them, and most of us have probably either been one or had one…. but just for the sake of this conversation, we are going to pretend that we all need a definition, and what better source than our trusty friend Urban Dictionary?

Stage Five Clinger: likely to become overly attached, overly fast. Virgins, those on the rebound, and the emotionally fragile are more likely to have this term applied to them.

Example: “Dude stage five clinger just text me again, she wants me to spit in her mouth.”

As a cam-girl, you will inevitably run into approximately 1 to 1 million stage five clingers through the span of your career. It’s just statistics. *shrugs* Some of you may be sitting there wondering whether or not you have one already? Don’t worry, you don’t. Trust and believe that when you do get one, you will know without question. I like to think of the stage five clingers as an occupational hazard. Something that comes along with the territory of the profession that we have all chosen to be in. Are they fun? Hell no. Are the entertaining? Of course not.. Well, sometimes they are, but usually only because you can’t believe the lengths they go through to have attention.I have banned many a clinger because they don’t know how to abide by rules, and they take so much energy that sometimes you have to stop and ask yourself “is the juice really worth the squeeze?”

Stage Five Clingers aren’t your normal attached regular, though at first they might fool you into believing that they are just like anyone else. They will weasel their way into your snapchats and your cam rooms like the slimy, tricky little buggers they are, so let’s go over some of the signs to be on the look-out for.

1. They become Entitled Little Bitches. Let me elaborate. They start to form feelings and think that they are in an actual relationship with you, so they can’t understand why you don’t spend every waking moment talking to them or giving them something for free because they’ve “given” you so much. Which brings me to..

2. “But I’ve given you so much” Cue the eye-roll, please. This is a classic line and will be used in some shape or form at some point. This is where you need to be clear at what the difference between “giving” and “purchasing” is.

3. “Babe, can’t I just have it?” Any variation on this phrase, even a hint of them trying to get something for free after they’ve been loyal spenders is a sure sign that they are starting to feel like they deserve special treatment, and also a big red flag to let you know that you should RUN. RUN FAR AWAY. (unless clingers are your thing.. In which case. JACKPOT!)

4. No Sense of Boundaries .. and when I say no sense, I mean NO SENSE of boundaries. At all. You will start to realize that for some people it is a necessity of reminding them that you are running a business and when you are talking to them you are working. Yeah, it would be nice if this was an unspoken rule, but people forget that your time is money, so it’s extremely important that you maintain the control of everything at all times. I once had a guy call me on Skype at 5AM in the morning for no reason except to test his feed and say hi. (Aca’scuse me? Are you out of your mind, bro?!) BLOCKED FOR LIFE. Didn’t give him the show he was supposed to be receiving the next day and sent him a very long email explaining why he was no longer going to be a client of mine and how crazy it was that he thought he had the right to call me whenever he wanted. Do not EVER be afraid to say “Having the ability to talk with me/contact me is a privilege, one that you can lose and never be able to gain back.” Anyone who has a problem with that is a giant douche and not worth your time anyway.

5. Gets possessive and jealous when you go private with other clients. I feel like this should go without saying, but please, for the love of god, do not let any person get away with this BS. I don’t care how much money they have spent on you, or how much you actually like them. It is one of the highest levels of disrespect (in my opinion) for them to think they are more important than your other clients, or your money.

Now, originally this was going to be the part of the article where I delve into all the different ways that you can handle stage five clingers, but now that I think about it, there isn’t really much to delve into. You either put up with them and hustle them for all their worth and then cut them off when they stop spending, or you cut them off before they can even start. If you’re not sure which way is the way for you, see what you’re able to handle without wanting to blow your f’ing brains out. Maybe your tolerance level is that of a saint and you will be able to take on all the clingers of all the lands while taking all of their money.. and that’s what the main point is. Don’t ever let a clinger come between your money and your time. If that happens- they have gone too far. Money over bitches, every damn day.

Avoiding Webcam Scams

Avoid being scammed on webcam

Scammer. Scam-artist. Connoisseur of the Scam. Zé art of zé scam. No matter how you slice and dice it, the fact remains the same. If it seems to be too good to be true, it usually is.
Here’s the deal, kids. In this industry, we’re all going to be victim of the attempted scam. Granted, some of them are miserable excuses of an attempt and can hardly be considered “scamworthy” but once in a while, every so often you get the diamond in the rough. The one that either almost gets you, or (god forbid) actually does.

These guys are professionals. Not to be taken lightly. If you aren’t careful, they will come in and steal your sunshine, your panties, your content and your happiness. So, how do we help prevent these nasty predators from succeeding in their disgusting, freeloading ways?

First things first, never let your guard down. Scammers are always looking for a way to sneak in through the cracks and get you to trust them before they pull a bait and switch on you and get a bunch of free sh*t. There are going to be the ones who pretend to be “promoters” on social media and say things like “Hey babe, want a shout out? Can I get some personal nudes and maybe your snapchat in return?” (ugh. Go die, please.)

Then you’re going to get the “Paypal.BB? Amazon Gift Cards BB?” guys. The rare occasion does happen where these are really guys asking if you accept this form of payment, but more often than not scammers will send you fake gift cards, send you paypal and then report your account and get their money back, etc. Because of this it’s super important to be extremely informed about all the ways you do accept payment, and never waiver on what you’re comfortable with receiving until you do your research.

Then you’re going to get the guys who might even drop a little bit of money on you at first. These are the quintessential starting line-up of the game. They make you think they are legit by purchasing something, might be a big thing, might be a small thing.. And then they try to scam you out of your panties by saying that they will “send the money tomorrow.” Common phrases attached to these kinds are:

“I’m going to take care of you”
“I can’t use a credit card anymore because I don’t want it on my statement”
“I’ll send everything later, you know I’m good for it.”
“I got you.” “I see you” or any other variation on this stupid phrase.

Nope. No. No way, no how. These guys are trying to get you to lower your guard because hey, they’ve spent on you before, right? That must mean that they are always going to spend on you with their thousands of dollars. Even if they don’t right away.. It will pay off in the long haul, right? WRONG-O!

This brings me right into my second point. Do not bend the rules for anybody, unless you are 100% certain that they are legitimate, and even then… be wary. There are many a tale of the regular turned freeloader who pillaged and plundered his way through all the naïve camgirls by land and sea, so stay firm in your guidelines and make them either follow them or leave.

Always read through EVERYTHING (yes, even the fine print) and then if you’re not sure, google it and make sure. Check, and then double check….and then go back and check it again!
Basically, just make sure to cover all your bases and always be informed, because some of these guys are good. Like…Tom Hardy in everything he’s in kind of good. Not amateur, not easy to spot and will 9/10 times get the scam stamped with a big red COMPLETE.

Example time!!
Guy wants snapchat. He says he’s new at purchasing these kinds of things, acts like he tries to set up any accounts he needs to in order to pay and claims that it won’t work. Asks if he can send a gift card. He sends a “gift card” that asks for you to put in all of your legal and banking information and requires you to start an account in order to “redeem” the money. See where this is going?

This is a great scam because it provides the model with the illusion that he is trying hard to purchase content and is having a hard time. His goal here is to create a sense of guilt so that you will give in to accepting a gift card payment that you don’t normally accept. Then he slides in with one that will be extremely easy for him to either get your information from, or to get a refund on his money after he receives what he’s “paying” for.

Another popular scam is the “modeling agency” or the “magazine photographer” that will contact you on social media and say they are interested in shooting (or insert any other appropriate term for what they are claiming here)

Never be afraid to ask for references and samples of their work. It’s common practice to ask for references on an application, and why wouldn’t you want to fully screen anyone that you’re considering working with anyway? If they can’t provide references, past models they’ve worked with who you can reach out with, samples of their previous work or proof of what they are saying they can do for you, then move along. They are either scamming you or else they are unbelievably unprofessional, and you shouldn’t want to work with them anyway.
This could turn into a novel on it’s own if I kept going into details about all of the different ways that people have either tried with me or one of my cam friends, but suffice it to say that if you run your career like it’s a business, you will be able to avoid the majority of the scammers. Keep an eye out, be smart, be safe and if you do encounter a scammer, call them out on social media to warn the other models.

Tips on extending your private shows

Top 10 Tips on Extending your Private Show Lengths

Tip 1 – Learn about your customers. This may sound like a simple thing, as many girls who start webcamming, are more interested in just getting the job done and miss the whole point of getting to know the customer. When you forge a relationship with your customer, he may come back 5-6 times a month and spend his money on you, as opposed to once and never again. We suggest making social media accounts to interact with these customers, even when you are not on cam. Building this persona will develop a stronger relationship between you and your customer. Remember, the more you know about your customer, the more you can keep them engaged and enjoying your company. Once you develop a relationship with your customer, you can chat about their day, their dislikes/likes etc, not only does this keep them at ease and happy, but it makes the time go buy faster.

Tip 2 – This feeds into Tip 1, try to show personality as much as you can. Just because you are not face to face with your customer, you may be cam to cam with them. This means you should be smiling and interacting with them. Don’t just blankly stare at them waiting for them to make the next move. Try starting your next private off asking ‘So what do you like?’ When you ask questions like these, the customer has to take the time to answer and is showing them you have a caring/warm personality on webcam.

Tip 3 – Depending on the action of conversation you were having in free chat, Do not stop doing that, just because you were taken into a private show. Perhaps your customer was attracted to that action or conversation. Extending it often will keep them engaged for longer than stopping the action.

Tip 4 – Don’t always assume that once you get into private show mode, that you have to get naked right away. If you take your clothes off, start masturbating and orgasm within 60 seconds, guess how long your average private show will last? 60 seconds! Slow it down, interact and get to know the customer and ask him what he likes. Ask lots of open ended questions like ‘what is your favorite part of my body? or ‘why do you like it when I do this’. Once you know more about your customer, you can always try to sell them a custom video content.

Tip 5 – Ask the customer if they have a webcam, waiting for them to switch it on, will allow you to really get to know them better, make sure to compliment them. People like to be complimented!

Tip 6 – Move slowly. Don’t move like you are obviously stalling, but move sensually. It can create a nice buildup for the customer when you crawl to get into a better position. Be sure to use those hips and slow hand movements up and down your body. He won’t be able to stop watching you.

Tip 7 – You don’t have to over do it, I’ve seen countless models, screaming so much it’s ridiculous. This isn’t a turn on for the customer because they can obviously tell its fake. The more natural and authentic you can be with your customers, the more they will enjoy the private show and the longer they will stay.

Tip 8 – Try to go above and beyond your customers expectations. You can always ask out of the box questions that will surprise him, when he answers try to keep the conversation going. It’s important to want to win him as a friend, sometimes it’s not just about getting the private show, but making him feel better about himself. Often these customers are lonely and save their money to communicate with an attractive female. These customers want you to be interested in them. If you do this correctly, you will start to see the customer returning to follow up with you, even when they are not horny.

Tip 9 – Ask the customer what their name is, this is always a great way to engage the customer, many customers don’t want to be referred to by their username (anallover88). You can create a much stronger connection with them if you know their real name. Maybe even give them your real name (if you are comfortable). This builds a bond.

Tip 10 – The best tip I can give you, If you are in a bad mood just take the day off. You are only impacting your bottom line and you will not able to hold privates no matter what you try. 🙂 If you don’t want to be there, your customer won’t either.
